Rajasthan Royals ended Punjab Kings’ unbeaten run in IPL 2025 with a commanding 50-run victory in Match 18 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Stadium in Mullanpur, Chandigarh. Jofra Archer led the bowling attack with a stellar 3-wicket haul, dismissing Priyansh Arya and skipper Shreyas Iyer in the same over, and later removing Arshdeep Singh in the final over to seal the win.

Chasing a daunting 206-run target, Punjab Kings struggled despite a resilient half-century from Nehal Wadhera. However, once Wadhera and Glenn Maxwell were dismissed, the chase lost momentum, and PBKS could only manage 145/8 in their 20 overs.

Earlier, Rajasthan Royals, after being put in to bat, posted a massive 205/4 — the highest total ever at the Mullanpur Stadium, eclipsing the previous best of 192 by Mumbai Indians. Yashasvi Jaiswal anchored the innings with a gritty 67 runs, his slowest IPL fifty to date. He got valuable support from Sanju Samson (38) and Riyan Parag (43), while Lockie Ferguson stood out among the PBKS bowlers with 2 wickets.
